Lauren Costlow

Born and raised in Marin County, Lauren independently relocated to Sonoma County when she was 17 years old to attend SRJC. Ms. Costlow has had diverse experiences prior to attending law school, including becoming one of the City of Petaluma’s youngest sworn employees as a Public Safety Dispatcher at only 19 years old. Ms. Costlow credits this experience to her negotiating skills and love of working with people. Seeking the change of pace required to raise a family, Ms. Costlow went to work for her family’s produce business before becoming a real estate broker and REALTOR®, titles that she maintains today. Ms. Costlow also assists her husband in running his general construction company. During law school, Ms. Costlow worked as an intellectual property paralegal for Stainbrook & Stainbrook, LLP before working in her current role of certified law clerk
for Vandyk Law, PC, a litigation firm specializing in family law. Ms. Costlow received Witkin Awards for academic excellence in Torts and Criminal Law.
